Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, monetary benefits, and final pay, while also handling statutory government contributions and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process semi-monthly payroll and final pay for employees accurately and on time
- Handle government statutory reports and payments (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, including loan contributions and monthly deductions)
- Administer employee monetary benefits and statutory benefits
- Maintain and update payroll records in compliance with labor regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Use and maintain HRIS, timekeeping, and payroll systems efficiently
- Generate reports related to payroll, government contributions, and employee deductions
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accountancy, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Human Resource Management, or related courses
- At least 1-3 years of experience in payroll or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS, timekeeping, and payroll/accounting systems
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willing to learn, be trained, and work onsite daily
- Experience handling payroll for 1,500 employees or more is a strong advantage
