Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

A Systems Engineer is responsible for the solution architecture of a project by mapping the customer’s business requirements to technical requirements and creating the technical design and proposal. Provides technical guidance to the business unit, and collaborate with account managers in pre-sales technical role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients and business representatives to understand the business requirements
  • Liaise with other professionals to design solution architecture for businesses and clients
  • Act as consultant or trusted technical adviser to clients and account team
  • Perform Scoping for Client Technical and Business Requirements
  • Craft Technical Designs to Address Customer Requirements (BOM, HLD, SOW, Write-up, etc.)
  • Craft Technical Proposals required in Project Biddings (Compliance Sheets, Annexes, etc.)
  • Conduct Client Presentations (Design, Proposal and Technical Updates)
  • Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) or Demonstrations to clients
  • Conduct Site Survey needed for the Technical Design
  • Accomplish training, development and certification required by the company
  • Maintains solid, technical understanding of company’s product and solution offerings

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or Computer Science
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience as Pre-Sales in Cisco or equivalent IT Vendor
  • Must have at least one equivalent or higher IT-related certification
    • Networking – Cisco (CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCDP/CCIE)
    • Security – Fortinet/Checkpoint/Trend Micro/CompTIA/ISC Certifications
    • Data Center – VMware/Nutanix/Dell/HP Certifications
    • Cloud – Azure/AWS Certifications
  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
