Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
Strong capabilities to configure, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls. Knowledge of Cisco router, Huawei switch, Ruckus Access Point, Zone Director, FortiGate, or equivalent
LAN and WAN experience.
Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
Network security experience.
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
Has an eye for detail, ability to work independently, under pressure, and good at prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines
Excellent in interpersonal & communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
CCNA certified is an advantage
Key responsibilities & accountabilities:
Coordinate and comply with the IT policy and direction in terms of IT Network infrastructure
Plan, organize and conduct IT Network infrastructure projects
Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
Conduct regular maintenance of network equipment, biometrics and telephony equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the IT systems.
Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
Replace faulty network hardware components when required
Arrange scheduled upgrades
Maintain inventory of all network equipment and vendor lists.
Report network status to key stakeholders
Monitor and report network performance to IT Lead
Ensure adherence to company policies at all times.
