Job Overview:

The Customer Care Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service by addressing complaints and inquiry through phone, email, or chat.  He/She is also responsible for generating sales by either cold calling or answering the request in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls
  • Cold calling prospective clients by following sales scripts to provide information about product’s feature, prices, etc. and present their benefits
  • Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, guiding client through corrective steps
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective customers and existing customers with inquiries or concerns
  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
  • Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how UAS products or services meet their needs
  • Record customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system
  • Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information 
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years old and above
  • Completed at least 2 years in college
  • 1 year call center experience
  • Proven experience as an outbound sales agent or similar sales role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Amenable to work on shifting schedules, during holidays, and extended hours if needed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle customer complaints and rejection
